Fast, permanent on-the-spot repairs without pressure, heat or special tools
Iron-Crete® is a 2-part epoxy and resin compound that hardens to a rigid, gray metallic mass. Can be machined, tapped, drilled, sanded, filed, etc. with regular metalworking tools, or can be painted. Nonshrinking, does not become brittle or crack. Resists heat, most solvents, acids, alkalis and most cutting oils. Repairs metal alloys that are not practical to weld and is as strong as most welds. Also can be used in place of solder and is less brittle than cast iron. Eliminates the hazard of welding around flammable materials. Iron-Crete is easy to mix and apply; smooths and cleans up with ordinary water and soap; 2-hour pot life allows careful, unhurried repairs. Molds to any shape or size; dries in 3-4 hours, cures overnight.
