EliteTM Red has a Timken extreme-pressure test rating of excellent—OK, a load rating of 60 and exceptional shear stability. It has a dropping point of 500°F/260°C; withstands intermittent high heat up to 464°F/240°C with frequent relubrication; functions well at low temperatures to 0°F/-18°C. Excellent heat reversion; after heating and re-cooling, EliteTM Red resolidifies, maintains full lubricating properties, will not char or turn waxy like conventional greases;will not emulsify or wash out in the presence of water, prevents oxidative corrosion and rust deterioration caused by acids, water and steam, forms a permanent protective molecular shield that seals away dirt, dust, metal fines and other abrasive particulates from metals so equipment lasts longer.
